How One Bexley Came Together

We are constantly reminded that there is work to be done to more purposefully build a community free from racism and prejudice, where all residents and visitors are valued, respected, and empowered to thrive.

The One Bexley Project was formed in the context of a community that has grappled with racist incidents and systems throughout its history. A joint initiative of the City of Bexley, the Bexley City School District, and the Bexley Public Library, One Bexley Is an interactive educational and community based programming to ensure that all people are welcome in our community. Through events, discussions, and community-wide engagement, One Bexley aims to provide programming that addresses the historical, structural context of past incidents that have scarred our community, and empowers our community to disrupt similar events  in the future.
