Real Talk: MLK Day Real Talk - Is the Dream Still Alive?

Celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by listening to King's historic I Have a Dream speech and coming together for a community conversation around what King's speech means today. ​This program is part of the One Bexley Real Talk series, an ongoing conversation series where we come together to discuss pressing social issues, current events, and challenging topics around identity and humanity with the goal of building community and strengthening connections in and around Bexley.

Call for Storytellers

Do you have a story of resilience to tell? One Bexley invites neighbors to step into the spotlight at our second annual Story Slam at the Drexel Theatre. Inspired by the personal story telling style of The Moth Radio Hour, we invite you to share a true, personal story of grit, courage, and humanity—because the most powerful stories come from our community.

Celebrate Good Neighbor Day in the spirit of Fred Rogers! Take a moment to connect with a neighbor you don’t know as well. Not sure where to start? Invite them to a cookout, block party, playdate, or just a friendly hello. Small acts of kindness make Bexley a warmer, more welcoming place for everyone. Looking for a way to meet new neighbors and City officials too? If you're new (or newly returned) to Bexley, we'd love to welcome you to our New Resident Open House on Sunday, January 25 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Jeffrey Mansion. This event is great for all ages and you're welcome to drop in any time! Join us for light refreshments and the chance to meet your elected officials, city staff, and leaders from a variety of terrific community organizations.
