Like other suburbs in the Central Ohio region, Bexley’s neighborhoods were shaped when broader patterns of discrimination and segregation excluded Black families from becoming part of our community. These systems were rooted in racism—and their impacts didn’t simply fade away with time or as policies were undone.
One Bexley is about naming past and present harms, challenging barriers where they exist, and actively expanding who gets to feel at home here.
