In partnership with the City of Bexley, Bexley Minority Parent Alliance (BMPA) is celebrating Black History Month in 2025 by honoring African Americans who have made a difference in the community, from our schools and businesses to churches and service organizations.

Special Black History Month Screenings at Drexel Theatre
The historic Drexel Theatre on Main Street is celebrating Black History Month with special screenings of Blue Collar, Sorry to Bother You, and Car Wash. Use the promo code ONEBEXLEY at checkout to receive special Drexel Theatre member price of $8 per ticket.

Join us in celebrating the life, words, and legacy of the iconic Toni Morrison with readings from local authors and artists Ajanaé Dawkins, Tiffany Lawson, Tyiesha Radford Shorts, and Valerie Boyer. Readings will take place from 1:30-4:45 PM in the BPL Auditorium. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided by the library.
